Grant Management and Consulting Services, since its inception in 1989, has specialized in consulting services for non-profit organizations, school districts, cities, public entities, county agencies, and private businesses. Services include, youth offender initiatives, juvenile justice, gun violence prevention education, domestic violence education, HIV/AIDS awareness, data collection and analysis community needs assessments, research, executive management consultation, grant and proposal writing. A workshop that will assist participants in preparing their resumes for job search. In preparation for the workshop, participants are asked to bring an electronic file and a hard copy of their resume and a list of job searches to tailor their resume.
Interpersonal Competencies (Click to Open or Close)
An in depth workshop that covers nature of conflict and will assist participants in understanding the dynamics of negotiation and conflict resolution. This training is geared more for management although front line staff may participate.
Workplace Communication Competencies for the Employee
(Click to Open or Close) A full -day workshop that will assist participants in identifying with common workplace conflicts. This workshop is geared for the frontline employee. Although managers and supervisors can attend exercises will focus on employees who do not supervise. Basic Conflict resolution skills are highlighted.
Youth Services and Case Management (Click to Open or Close)
A full day workshop that will assist participants in understanding the purposes of pre-screening, intake, and enrollment process. Learn the fundamentals of case management key roles and the Youth Development principles that apply to the case management process.
Youth Probation & Youth Law Enforcement (Click to Open or Close)
A workshop that will assist participants in reacquainting officers in basic case management strategies, assist in understanding the demands of working with and for court involved youth, assist participants in understanding the typology of youth violence and also includes a 1/2 day workshop that uses current data from multi studies of youth to explore potentials related to increased risk.

A workshop that will assist participants in understanding the nature of violence in the workplace. Participants will write / create a response or draft of preventing violence in their workplace. Will also will assist participants in dealing with stress in the workplace.
Leadership Training (For Management Only) (Click to Open or Close)
A one day training to provide new supervisors & managers with proven practices and suggestions for moving from a team member role to a leadership role.
Youth Serving Agencies (Click to Open or Close)
A workshop that will assist participants in understanding how to do business with the federal government, identifying how to write a sustainability plan, A-Z’s of Board Development and recruitment and more.
Diversity (Click to Open or Close)
A workshop that uses the most respected and widely used best practices for federal and state workers. This two day training will Increase awareness of your unique aspects of diversity using the Four Key Dimensions of the Diversity Model. This model helps the employee determine which aspects are most influential at this point in their life.
Media (Click to Open or Close)
A workshop that teaches how to develop plans of action for bringing advertising messages to the attention of consumers through the use of appropriate media.
